GreenLight Credentials serves as a single place for students to own and manage their credentials and academic records from secondary and postsecondary institutions, and securely share verified digital transcripts with colleges, universities, and employers.

GreenLight Credentials has partnered with Follett to ease the process of application to higher education for K-12 students and to present job opportunities and verified applications for employment for current college students.

"Our exclusive partnership with GreenLight Credentials will further Follett's work to support more equity and affordability in higher education, thereby increasing recruitment, retention, and completion"

Ryan Petersen, President, Follett Higher Education

Through this exciting new partnership, Follett campuses can look forward to:

  • An improved, easier student experience: Students can seamlessly manage their academic records and engage with college recruiters and prospective employers.
  • A reduction in recruitment spending and a boost in enrollment: GreenLight makes it simple for colleges to engage high school students based on their academic interests and transcripts.
  • More support for equity and affordability in higher education: We want to empower students to control their own transcripts and credentials so they can pursue future academic and job opportunities.

Follett is also committed to making the platform free-of-charge to the K-12 districts that drive enrollments to Follett higher education institutions using the GreenLight Credentials platform.

"We began working with GreenLight Credentials when we were trying to enroll students whose last institution had closed and they had no way to get their transcript and prove they'd completed courses or earned credentials. To allow something so small to throw someone's life off course is simply unacceptable. GreenLight and Follett joining forces...can have a tremendous impact."
