Watch the Replay | Originally Recorded June 21, 2023

Equitable Access—a campus-wide course material distribution model that ensures access to required course materials for every student—is driving measurable impacts to student outcomes at campuses of all sizes across the country. Campus leaders are considering new ways to customize these programs to fit the needs of their unique student populations, as well as meet key strategic goals tied to diversity, equity, and inclusion; affordability; and retention.

In this webinar, in partnership with WACUBO, you’ll hear from Diana Z. Rodriguez, Chancellor of San Bernardino Community College District, who will offer a deep dive into the resoundingly successful Books+ program that provided all students--regardless of income level, field of study, or credits taken—the books and materials they needed to succeed, free of charge.

During this session we'll cover:

  • Best practices for socializing and communicating the launch of a day-one access program to tens of thousands of students
  • The data behind student outcomes improvements driven by day one access programs
  • How to get approval and buy-in from key on-campus stakeholders
